1. Why is it important to have trees in our lives? Trees are important in our lives because they give us oxygen.
2. What does the article mean when it says valuable resources? Without trees as you may know the world would not exist because trees are our oxygen.
3. When the article talks about the word “Felled” what does Felled mean? Felled means to cut down a tree.

In the text I learnt that trees were mostly grown in the North Island on the Kaingaroa plains and the nature of the trees were continued.
